New addition to the 1” Exit phenolic family, the WG270Ph pairs up the D270Ph-S 1″ exit midrange driver with the WG11-25 compact 60° x 60° exponential horn.This combo is all about high vocal output in a small profile.

This horn driver is ideal for high output PA and PRO audio on wheels systems due to its capability to reproduce vocals down to 600 Hz.

• Phenolic diaphragm provides extreme clarity in the critical midrange or vocal range. 106.5 dB efficient driver is perfect for high output audio systems.
• Compact driver design for easy front-mounted installation. No need to remove the driver from the horn to mount it.

• Large 2″ copper voice coil can handle up to 150 Watts RMS musical power / 8 Ohm.

High temperature copper wire is used for the voice coil that is wound on a Kapton former to withstand high operating temperatures.

The nearly indestructible Phenolic diaphragm structure, designed for vocal reproduction, allows low midrange reproduction from 600 to 8000 Hz, ( RPD270Ph ) is built to resist the elements, perfect for outdoor use.

Designed to reproduce the all-important vocal range with authority in the smallest profile.

The small diameter of the driver allows front mounting, making it easy to install, without detaching the driver from the horn.

Recommended Amplifier configurations and crossover points:

2 Drivers – 1x QS400.4 at 2 Ohm, 2 drivers in parallel on a bridged channel
4 Drivers – 1x MDX1200.2 at 2 Ohm, 4 drivers in parallel on 1 channel ( Bundle Available )
8 Drivers – 1x MDX1200.2 at 2 Ohm, 4 drivers in parallel per channel
( Other channels on the amplifier may be used for Tweeters to provide a full spectrum of sound )
Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 150 Watts RMS musical power ( without clipping )

• 600 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
• 500 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18

If you have super tweeters on your system the recommended LPF is 8,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system.
